The engine also features the correct intake, 186 casting heads and correct DZ carburetor. This example, built in the first week of February 1969, is one of the early built Z/28s without the cowl hood many expect on a Z/28. It is finished in its correct Code 76 Daytona Yellow paint with matching front and rear spoilers. The finish provides a period-correct contrast to the correct 727-code white vinyl bucket-seat interior with a center console. Manual steering keeps the driver connected to the road, while power brakes with front discs deliver the stopping power. A set of E7015 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires wraps around the wheels, completing the factory-correct stance. What truly sets this Camaro apart is the Z/28's chambered exhaust - an option that provides a raw, aggressive soundtrack.
