No Reserve Classics proudly presents this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS396 X22 454 Big Block. At the heart of this genuine X22 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS396 sits a GM Performance 454 HO crate engine factory rated at 425 horsepower, delivering the aggressive torque and unmistakable sound that define late-60s American muscle. Built for strong street performance and reliability, the engine features an aluminum intake manifold, roller camshaft, Holley dual-feed carburetor, Mallory ignition system, and Hooker headers feeding into a Flowmaster dual exhaust setup. The upgraded big block provides significantly enhanced performance over the factory 396 while maintaining the correct muscle car character enthusiasts demand. Power is transferred through a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission and a stout 3.36 Positraction rear end, creating an ideal combination of acceleration, drivability, and highway cruising capability. Detailed throughout, the engine bay presents exceptionally well with a clean factory-inspired appearance and high-quality restoration finishes.
Finished in its factory-correct 52-52 Garnet Red, this Camaro presents with exceptional depth, gloss, and overall show-quality appearance. The body exhibits laser-straight lines, excellent panel alignment, and high-end two-stage urethane paintwork that highlights the aggressive styling of Chevrolet's iconic first-generation Camaro. Factory black hood and deck stripes complement the vibrant Garnet Red finish, while the cowl induction hood, front chin spoiler, and rear deck spoiler reinforce the car's unmistakable Super Sport presence. Chrome, stainless trim, glass, and brightwork all show beautifully throughout the restoration. Factory-style rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires complete the timeless muscle car stance with the perfect blend of factory-correct aesthetics and aggressive road presence.
Inside, the black bucket seat interior has been restored to a high standard while maintaining the authentic appearance and feel expected from a genuine SS396 Camaro. The cabin features rosewood interior trim, a rosewood steering wheel, factory-style upholstery, and detailed dash components that showcase the quality of the restoration throughout.
A center console with horseshoe shifter reinforces the true muscle car driving experience, while console-mounted rally gauges provide a functional and period-correct performance appearance. The interior remains highly detailed with excellent fitment, clean trim, and factory-inspired presentation throughout the cabin.
The undercarriage and chassis of this Camaro reflect the same level of care and detail seen throughout the rest of the build. The underside presents cleanly with restored components, detailed finishes, and excellent structural integrity. Equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes, this Camaro delivers improved drivability and confident stopping performance. The suspension and driveline components work together to create a strong-running, reliable big block muscle car equally capable of local cruise nights, collector events, or weekend driving enjoyment. With only approximately 3,012 miles reported since restoration completion at the time of cataloging, this Camaro remains exceptionally fresh in both presentation and overall condition.

At the age of 18, Joe purchased his first classic car – a 1972 Chevelle SS454 WVIN – and was bit by the bug ever since. He continued buying classic cars and found the rush of purchasing, restoring and driving these symbolic machines of American heritage very addictive. After realizing that his parent’s garage was not big enough to hold them all, he then started to rent a small warehouse. His girlfriend at the time, now his lovely wife, sat him down one day and told him that he had an issue. He was also advised to, moving forward, sell a car before he could buy another one. At that point, through many walks of life, he realized that there are plenty of other people just like him who enjoy owning and driving a piece of American history.
In 2010, he realized that he could quench his desire to drive as many American classics as he desired, as long as he could make room for them, so he ramped up car purchases. You can say it is no coincidence that the founder/owner of No Reserve Classics is named Joe, since he sells American classics that the “average Joe” can afford…but don’t get it twisted, there is nothing average about him or No Reserve Classics.
We enjoy what we do so much that the bottom dollar does not affect our decision making.
We choose to satisfy our passion for restoring classic cars by simply selling them to restore more American muscle.
— Joseph Hanna, Founder/Owner
Typically when you see classic cars, they’re either at car shows or have been sitting in the owner’s garage for quite some time not getting the attention they need. We take those cars and truly bring them back to life by fulfilling light restoration work and getting them to a so-called “turn-key” standpoint where you can hop in and reliably drive them every day.

When a vehicle is auctioned off, they all start at $0.01 and go to the highest bidder at the end of seven days…period. No Reserve Classics is an unprecedented and one of a kind online-based auction company that lets the market decide what our investment classic cars are worth. We are NOT run by used car salesmen and we are ALL passionate collectors who have years of experience owning and working on classic cars. We aim to make buying and selling your dream car as simple and as gratifying as possible.
Have you found the perfect collector vehicle on All Collector Cars? Before you make any decisions, we recommend that you take some time now to read the full description and review all the pictures with the listing. It’s important to do as much due diligence as you can before you contact the seller so that you’re prepared to ask about any flaws you see—and perhaps ones you don’t.
All Collector Cars allows our sellers to post unlimited vehicle pictures and descriptions, which gives you, the buyer, more control and information. In addition, our Buyers Resource section offers advice and vendor recommendations to guide you through the buying process, from classic car financing & insurance to collector vehicle shipping & restoration.
