It has since been thoughtfully re-imagined as a striking Red SS 350, complemented by the highly desirable Houndstooth and Black interior. The result is a Camaro that combines its desirable original SS foundation with a number of carefully selected RS body upgrades, including upgrading the original 4-speed to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission.
Under the hood is a period-correct 350 4-barrel V8 equipped with ram-air, providing the performance and character expected from an SS Camaro. Factory air conditioning, power steering and brakes adds a welcome level of driving comfort, while the exceptionally clean engine compartment presents like new for shows or weekend cruising around the town. The Tremec 5-speed transmission provides an excellent upgrade for modern highway driving, while the original 4-speed transmission and driveshaft have been retained and are included with the car. An updated matching custom center armrest with integrated cup holders adds a practical touch without compromising the overall look.
