Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Few cars have the unmistakable presence of a late 1960s Camaro, and this example takes that familiar muscle car shape and gives it a strong modern performance flavor. Finished in grey from front to back, the car has been prepped and is ready for an adhesive vinyl wrap, giving the next owner an opportunity to personalize the exterior with a color or design of their choice.
Under the hood is a 355 CID V8 equipped with Edelbrock Performance aluminum heads, a Holley Contender aluminum intake, a mild camshaft, and Holley Sniper EFI. The combination brings traditional small-block Chevrolet performance together with modern electronic fuel injection. Power is sent through a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission, keeping the driver involved with every shift. The car is also equipped with a Vintage Air cooling and heating system, along with power steering and power brakes.
The chassis has received attention as well, with CPP tubular control arms up front and four-wheel disc brakes. These upgrades complement the car's performance-oriented character while giving the Camaro a more modern foundation underneath its classic body. Dakota Digital gauges bring a contemporary touch to the cockpit, providing updated instrumentation while fitting naturally into the overall restomod theme.
Inside, the Camaro features a black vinyl interior that provides a classic contrast to the grey exterior. The cabin keeps the familiar character of a late 1960s Camaro while the updated gauges and modernized mechanical components add to its custom feel.
The 1969 Camaro has become one of the defining shapes of the American muscle car era. With its long hood, short rear deck, aggressive stance, and unmistakable body lines, it remains instantly recognizable more than half a century later. This example takes that iconic foundation and combines it with a 355 CID V8, 4-speed Muncie manual transmission, modern fuel injection, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air cooling and heating, and Dakota Digital instrumentation. With the exterior already prepped for an adhesive vinyl wrap, it also leaves room for the next owner to put their own stamp on this classic Chevrolet.
