1969 Austin Healey Sprite All Electric If you like attention, this is the car for you. Only 2-3 are in North America, and everyone has a MG or Austin Healey story they want to share when you make a stop. Winner of the All Electric Class at the Green Grand Prix at the world-famous Watkins Glen International NASCAR raceway in Watkins Glen, New York. Previous winner was Cornell University. Has won best in show at local car shows with the trophies to prove it. Has 24kw battery. Rated around 50-75 mile (100 under perfect conditions) range although it has never been tested. This was the marketing vehicle for a small EV conversion company. The owner accepted a job with an OEM, and with 40 EV�s on the market now. The vehicle is no longer needed. Time for it to find a new stable. This car was featured in the 2018 NASA Earth Day celebration at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. It�s also been featured a Nissan World HQ in North America when 3 Leaf prototype were all that had been built. Has a combination of A123 pouch packs rated at 180 amp/hrs and CALB cells rated at 200 amps hours. It has some rust in a few areas starting. A previous owner did a questionable patch job on the floor board but the rest of the car is solid. As with any British car, if there are not leaks in your driveway, it can�t be British and this car is no exception. 120 volt system with Mini-BMS battery management system. Goes 72 mph � Went 78 mph top speed with gas motor.

So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
