The consigner is a local highly respected builder known for LS swaps and obsessive attention to detail. Under the hood is a rebuilt and massaged 4.8l Chevrolet that with a cam and intake upgrade should be producing a conservate 350hp. The 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission keeps the rpms down making cruising a breeze and helping the mpgs. Dakota Digital gages keep the driver aware of everything thats going on. The rot free body is solid and was resprayed within the last few years. From the dash to the package tray the interior appears new. In a word, "Clean" is the best way to describe this Poncho. This beauty sits on top of the, "You cant build it for that," list. First, find a 68 GTO, then find a qualified mechanic to build it for you for under the price you can buy this one for. Impossible. The A/C system is new, but needs to be finished - lines and a freon charge. The vacuum headlights are inop and have to be open and closed manually but real car guys wont care. For the money, this a great buy that you can still put your own touch on and make your own!
