No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1968 Plymouth Road Runner 1,000 HP Hellephant Pro-Touring Restomod!
This is a true 1 of 1 1968 Plymouth Road Runner to ever exist with a Hellephant swap and a GOLD Concours Winners Award at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN).
On the exterior, it maintains a factory-fresh vintage look, finished in a striking metallic blue with the original chrome accents and color-matched steel wheels that preserve its understated, original muscle car charm.
Under the hood reveals a supercharged 426 HEMI-based Mopar Hellephant crate engine delivering an incredible 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. The motor is 17 of 100 ever built by Dodge. Power is channeled through a GM 4L80E racing automatic with a TCI controller, all leading back to a Strange Engineering Dana 60 rear end with 3.54 gears, ensuring that this car not only has brute force but also reliable drivability.
Inside, the Road Runner stays true to its late-'60s roots. A split-fold bench seat and a thumb-roller radio keep the vintage vibe alive, while upgraded Dakota Digital gauges and Vintage Air climate control quietly modernize the driving experience without compromising its classic character.
Underneath, the car has been completely reengineered to handle the Hellephant's power. A Gerst K-frame with rack-and-pinion steering, Viking coilover shocks, a Street-Lynx four-link rear suspension, and Wilwood power disc brakes on all four corners make this Road Runner more than just a straight-line monster-it's a thoroughly modern performer wrapped in an iconic muscle car shell.
Before receiving its Hellephant swap, this Road Runner underwent a meticulous frame-off restoration. It started life with a 383 Mopar Big Block paired to a 4 Speed Transmission, which was a rare combination for the Road Runner back in the 60's. After its restoration,it earned an astounding 990 out of 1,000 points at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) in 2018. That recognition cements its pedigree as one of the finest restorations of its kind, further elevating its value and desirability before the performance upgrades took it to the next level in April of 2021.

At the age of 18, Joe purchased his first classic car – a 1972 Chevelle SS454 WVIN – and was bit by the bug ever since. He continued buying classic cars and found the rush of purchasing, restoring and driving these symbolic machines of American heritage very addictive. After realizing that his parent’s garage was not big enough to hold them all, he then started to rent a small warehouse. His girlfriend at the time, now his lovely wife, sat him down one day and told him that he had an issue. He was also advised to, moving forward, sell a car before he could buy another one. At that point, through many walks of life, he realized that there are plenty of other people just like him who enjoy owning and driving a piece of American history.
In 2010, he realized that he could quench his desire to drive as many American classics as he desired, as long as he could make room for them, so he ramped up car purchases. You can say it is no coincidence that the founder/owner of No Reserve Classics is named Joe, since he sells American classics that the “average Joe” can afford…but don’t get it twisted, there is nothing average about him or No Reserve Classics.
We enjoy what we do so much that the bottom dollar does not affect our decision making.
We choose to satisfy our passion for restoring classic cars by simply selling them to restore more American muscle.
— Joseph Hanna, Founder/Owner
Typically when you see classic cars, they’re either at car shows or have been sitting in the owner’s garage for quite some time not getting the attention they need. We take those cars and truly bring them back to life by fulfilling light restoration work and getting them to a so-called “turn-key” standpoint where you can hop in and reliably drive them every day.

When a vehicle is auctioned off, they all start at $0.01 and go to the highest bidder at the end of seven days…period. No Reserve Classics is an unprecedented and one of a kind online-based auction company that lets the market decide what our investment classic cars are worth. We are NOT run by used car salesmen and we are ALL passionate collectors who have years of experience owning and working on classic cars. We aim to make buying and selling your dream car as simple and as gratifying as possible.
Have you found the perfect collector vehicle on All Collector Cars? Before you make any decisions, we recommend that you take some time now to read the full description and review all the pictures with the listing. It’s important to do as much due diligence as you can before you contact the seller so that you’re prepared to ask about any flaws you see—and perhaps ones you don’t.
All Collector Cars allows our sellers to post unlimited vehicle pictures and descriptions, which gives you, the buyer, more control and information. In addition, our Buyers Resource section offers advice and vendor recommendations to guide you through the buying process, from classic car financing & insurance to collector vehicle shipping & restoration.
