The car is now a three-owner example and has traveled approximately 600 miles since its restoration was completed. The body was stripped to bare metal before receiving a fresh, high-quality paint finish, and the car presents extremely well from every angle. The restoration also included new glass, carpet, a complete brake system, exhaust, radiator, heater, water lines and hoses, front covers and headlights.
The muscular appearance is finished off with period-correct wheels and Firestone Wide Oval tires, giving this 442 the proper stance and look of a classic Oldsmobile muscle car. Inside, the car retains the character and feel expected of a genuine 1968 442, while the fresh restoration provides a very clean overall presentation.
