Based on production numbers we have researched, this Impala appears to be 1 of 1,778 (RPO) Z24 SS 427 option cars built for the 1968 model year. Under the special SS 427 domed hood sits a Numbers Matching L36 427ci / 385hp V8 mated to a TH400 Automatic Transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 12-Bolt Posi rear end with a 2.75:1 gear ratio. This example is also fitted with power brakes (disc front), power steering, dual exhaust, and 15'' rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial Redlines.
Inside, this Impala SS 427 is loaded with options! The Island Blue interior features front bucket seating with center console and factory staple shifter. Options include power windows, power convertible top, factory gauges with tachometer, and tilt steering column.
