1967 Shelby Daytona Coupe Replica Factory Five Racing for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this stunning 427-Powered Factory Five Racing Daytona. Built from 2011 to 2015 and is powered by a Ford Racing aluminum small block 427ci V8 factory rated for 600 horsepower. With only 3,745 miles this example is finished in Guardsman Blue with white stripes over black vinyl, and equipment includes a roll cage, rack-and-pinion steering, Halibrand-style 15 wheels, race-replica graphics, side-exit exhaust pipes, low-back bucket seats, racing harnesses, and Wilwood disc brakes.
The fiberglass bodywork is mounted over a tubular steel frame. Exterior equipment includes headlight covers, race-replica graphics, Daytona badging, a driver-side mirror, a Le Mans-style fuel filler cap, Plexiglass rear-quarter window scoops, a Kamm tail, and side-exit exhaust pipes. The Halibrand-style 15 wheels are mounted with 235/60 front and 295/50 rear Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires. The car is equipped with rack-and-pinion steering and an independent front and rear suspension, and stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel discs with a cabin-located adjustable brake bias valve.
The cockpit houses low-back bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl, and interior appointments include a roll cage, racing harnesses, sliding side windows, a Hurst-style shifter, dash-mounted toggle switches for various vehicle functions, and a center console.
The Ford Racing aluminum small block 427ci V8 crate engine has CNC-ported Ford Racing aluminum Z cylinder heads, an Edelbrock Glidden Victor Spider intake manifold, a Holley Dominator 750-cfm four-barrel carburetor, and a high-performance rear sump oil pan. Additional equipment includes a 22-gallon ATL Racing fuel cell and an Aeromotive fuel delivery system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford Racing Cobra R Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8 rear end with a 4.30:1 limited-slip differential. A stainless steel exhaust system is fitted.
