This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SE Cabriolet is a European-market example that has been professionally refurbished over the last few years at a cost of nearly $35,000. Receipts for all mechanical refurbishment are included (+/-$20,000). The car has been repainted in dark green metallic and wears a black soft top along with a red top boot. The engine compartment has been detailed and re-plated. Inside, the individual front seats and rear bench are trimmed in the factory original red leather and accompanied by a Becker Europa AM/FM radio as well as a VDO clock and instrumentation. Power is supplied by a fuel-injected 2.5-liter inline-six, while shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission. Further equipment includes US-specification headlights and Hella driving lights along with power steering, disc brakes, and 14″ steel wheels with color-matched centers.
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 159 lb-ft of torque.
I have personally driven this beautiful 250SE over 1,000 miles over the past year and it has participated in the Audrain Concours in Newport, RI as well as the Misselwood Concours in Beverly, MA in 2025 alongside amazing 300SL's and other top tier vintage Mercedes.
