The Austin Healey Sprite Mark IV was produced British Motor Corp/British Leyland from 1967 through 1971. It was a very basic sports car powered by a 1275cc OHV 4-cylinder engine. That said, this 1967 Sprite is a serious racecar that was built by Billy Coates in 2005 and has been carefully 'tweaked' over the years. The owner has campaigned this Sprite very successfully for the last 16 years in VRG, VDCA and SVRA events. It has consistently been one of the fastest Sprites on the East Coast circuit.
The Sprite is fully race-equipped with the following features:
 All-steel body w/black-red finish

 Polished, balanced crank
 4-bolt center main bearing
JE 13.5:1 pistons, polished rods, ARP bolts
Comptune head w/ARP bolts and Cometic gasket
 Harland Sharp roller rockers
Prepped Lucas 25D distributor w/Pertronics, MSD box and coil
Dual HS-4 carbs Thru-bored w/shaved throttle shafts and butterflys
 Long center branch header
 Competition radiator
 Remote oil filter/oil cooler
Front suspension upgrades include:
500# Coil springs w/ adjustable perches
 7/8"" Anti-roll bar
 Poly bushings
 Winners Circle comp spindles
 MiniLite alloy wheels w/Hoosier tires
 Disc brakes
Rear suspension features include:
 Offset leaf springs
 Armstong adjustable shocks/panhard bar
 Double bearing hubs
 Center link housing w/competition axles
 Drum brakes
The current owner is also offering spare parts (additional) for the car:
 Full unassembled race engine
 Engine blocks, heads, cranks
 Multiple differentials
 Ignition components

 Dog ring transmission case
 Many more
A race trailer with A/C and finished cabinetry is also available (at additional cost). This is a serious Sprite for a serious competitor. If you are that competitor, come look at this Healy - it belongs in your pit. ALL VEHICLES SOLD ""AS IS"".
