Burnyzz American Classic Horsepower
1 ASPEN ROAD
OCALA, FL 34480
Offered here is a true piece of Mopar muscle car royaltyan ultra-rare, factory HEMI-powered 1966 Plymouth Belvedere I, fully restored and finished in a striking Silver exterior over a Dark Blue interior. This car isnt just rareits one of only 79 Belvedere I HEMI 4-speed cars built in 1966, making it one of the most elusive and desirable examples of Chryslers early street HEMI dominance. This was the dawn of the muscle car revolution, and the Belvedere I was Plymouths no-nonsense, lightest-weight B-body platformperfect for drag racers and purists who wanted nothing but raw performance. When ordered with the earth-shaking 426 Street HEMI and a 4-speed manual transmission, as this car was, it became one of the most potent packages you could buy off a showroom floor in 1966. With 425 horsepower, dual four-barrel carburetors, and a heavy-duty drivetrain, this car was built to do one thing: go fast. The restoration on this Belvedere was done to an extremely high standard, returning the car to factory-correct specs with meticulous attention to detail. The Silver paint is smooth, deep, and beautifully laid down, complemented by sharp body lines, excellent panel fit, and gleaming chrome trim. Sitting on steel wheels with poverty caps and period-correct blue streak tires, this car looks every bit the part of a mid-60s street brawler. Inside, the Dark Blue bench seat interior is clean, simple, and exactly how a Belvedere I HEMI should bepurpose-built and no-frills. The floor-mounted Hurst shifter is your only invitation to the madness under the hood. The dash, trim, and soft parts are all beautifully restored, with the cabin offering a showroom-fresh look that transports you back to 1966. Underneath, the restoration continues with a highly detailed engine bay and undercarriage. The 426 HEMI starts effortlessly and delivers a thunderous idle. The 4-speed manual transmission, heavy-duty suspension, and rear axle are all correct and professionally rebuilt, giving this car the drivability and feel of a brand-new factory HEMI car. This Belvedere I is more than just a muscle carits an extremely rare, historically significant collector piece from the earliest days of HEMI legend. Few cars combine this level of rarity, authenticity, and condition. Whether youre adding to a serious Mopar collection or looking for a crown jewel centerpiece, this HEMI Belvedere is it.
