This rare piece of American history is believed to be one of only a handful made with these exact options and the factory installed fiberglass hood. Decoding the trim tag indicates that this car is an original ""S"" code 390 CID V8 car. The ""S"" code engine in 1966 was said to put out 335 horse power conservatively rated, and 427 foot pounds of torque. The interior and exterior have been beautifully restored to their original specifications, Red paint and White vinyl. Unlike the Comet Cyclone GT's counterpart, the Ford Fairlane, this car was a very limited production number vehicle. The limited production numbers of the Comet Cyclone GT is what brings the car in to a whole different realm of collectability.
