Take this opportunity to own a piece of history in Prime Condition!
1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau, painted in a beautiful original Sauturne Gold (Medium Sage Gold Metallic - has a stunning sage green sheen to it!). In fact, everything about this classic is original, no accidents, with a straight body that has no rust.
There's a lot of historically unique aspects of this particular Model Year- this is the first year that Ford introduced the Town Landau trim-package, and the last year it offered the Swing-Away Steering Wheel as an option on any models, and perhaps most significantly, this was the last year of the 4th Generation Thunderbird and the last year that Ford manufactured the T-Bird using unibody construction (before turning to a body-on-frame method).
The vehicle is loaded with all the bells and whistles, including Fully-Automatic Windows AND Quarter-Windows, previously noted Swing-Away Steering Wheel, Sequential Turn Signals, Radio, extensive and exceptionally clean Chrome Accents everywhere you look, Whitewall Tires, Chrome Hubs. Additionally, there's a slew of features exclusively unique to the Town Landau only, including floor and roof consoles and steering wheel with a simulated Woodgrain appearance, and both door panels have Woodgrain Inserts, along with a Black Levant-Grain Vinyl Roof in shockingly perfect condition, accented by color-coordinated S-Bars on the rear quarter panel. There is a stock 390-cubic-inch V8 under the hood producing 315hp and 427 lbs/ft of torque, a Cruise-o-Matic three-speed automatic transmission, and Disc Brakes.
This car has spent it's entire life garaged and maintained- 133,000 Miles, but you might think it was only 33k! Recently replaced the Brake Master Cylinder with a brand-new, STOCK part! Drives like a dream, and you can't help but feel happy cruising down the street. Already turns-heads wherever you go, and with a few minor touches, can be one of the premier examples of this model year (and can be priced for resale accordingly).
I'll be spending more time at an out-of-state business, and the car deserves to be with someone who can spend more enjoyable time behind the wheel. Additionally, I'll be leaving the country for a month, so I've priced the car to sell in the next week- if it doesn't, I'll probably end up reposting it at a higher price come September, as I won't be in as much of a rush at that point.
Asking Price- $11,900 (Reasonable Offers Accepted)
Happy to call, text, or email- whichever you prefer.
Hopefully you have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of this below-market-value classic whose value is bound to keep on increasing!
