1966 Ford Mustang Coupe, One Family Owned Since New, Original 289 V8, 3-Speed Manual, Fresh Graphite Gray Paint It's not often that you come across a classic Mustang with this kind of documented history. This beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe has remained in the same family since new and comes with an impressive collection of original documentation, including the original title, bill of sale, and other paperwork that help tell the story of this well-preserved American classic. Finished in a fresh coat of Graphite Gray Metallic, the Mustang has an outstanding appearance. The recent paintwork presents beautifully with a deep shine that complements the timeless body lines of the first-generation Mustang. Paired with classic Torque Thrust wheels, this coupe has an aggressive yet tasteful look that never goes out of style. Inside, you'll find a clean Black vinyl bucket seat interior that maintains the classic Mustang feel. The cabin is simple, comfortable, and inviting, making it an enjoyable place to spend time whether you're heading to a local cruise night or taking a weekend drive. Power comes from the car's original 289 cubic inch V8 engine, backed by its original 3-speed manual transmission. Having retained its original drivetrain throughout its life is a feature that collectors and enthusiasts always appreciate. The car starts easily, runs well, and delivers the enjoyable driving experience that helped make the Mustang an American icon. An air conditioning system was installed at some point during the car's life but was never completed, providing an opportunity for the next owner to finish the installation if desired. This Mustang has always been garage kept, a testament to the care it has received over the past six decades. While the car presents extremely well overall, we believe in being completely transparent with our customers. The frame does have a couple of minor areas with rust holes that should be addressed in the future. They are not extensive, but they are worth noting for anyone considering the vehicle. Finding a one-family-owned Mustang with its original drivetrain, documented history, and original ownership paperwork is becoming increasingly difficult. Combined with its fresh paint, attractive appearance, and enjoyable driving characteristics, this Mustang represents an excellent opportunity to own one of America's most beloved classics. Past & Present Motor Cars was founded in June of 2018 by Jack and Jeff and began in 2 small warehouses in Ocala and Winter Garden, Florida. After seeing the business have steady growth in the first year and a half in March 2020 we moved our Main Location in Winter Garden to a new location that at the time seemed huge. We were a little nervous to take on this larger building and higher rent but we knew we had to THINK BIG. After getting moved in, that was the start of Covid. Just after getting settled in we put signs on the door saying we were only open by appointment. While it was a tough time in the world it actually was a good time to be in the car business especially the classic car business and we continued to see steady growth. After 2 1/2 years in that location we proceeded to acquire 4 buildings and lease a 5th building. This allowed for the operation we have today with 150+ Classic Cars and a Service Department. We are still doing the same thing we have done everyday since we opened, Great Customer Service, Owners that are Available and Accessible for our customers and very happy to talk cars anytime anywhere. We will never grow too big to be real with anyone! Keeping our commitment to our customers through straightforward business and ALWAYS doing the right thing! We are the same people with the same commitment as the day we opened and our slogan is and remains:
