1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible, True 138 Vin Super Sport, 396 / 360 Horsepower Big Block V8 Engine, 4 Speed Muncie Manual Transmission, 12 Bolt Rear End, Protecto Plate, The car was updated & improved upon over 20 years. Driven very little, average 1000 miles a year to keep her running fantastic. Bucket seats and Center Console with clock. After market Classic Air Conditioning, 30 years of documented maintenance with dates. Absolutely beautiful undercarriage. Spotless floor pans. New Power White convertible top & window in excellent condition. New convertible boot and top cover. Baltimore assembly plant. New 4-wheel Power Disc brakes installed and new front suspension bushings, new hood hinge springs. American Racing Mags. BFG tires 215-65-15 front 235-60-15 rear. SS Hood with chrome inserts. Factory chrome valve covers. Aftermarket chrome air cleaner. Polished aluminum high-rise intake manifold. HEI electronic ignition. Heavy duty 8 mm plug wires. Griffin Oversize aluminum performance radiator. Aluminum high volume water pump. Electronic fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator. Headers. Cross over factory correct exhaust. Thrush mufflers with the exhaust ends turned out to the side. clean under the hood. Muncie 4 speed transmission was rebuilt with Center Force clutch disc & pressure plate. 5th rarest color only 17,119 produced including convertibles, HT’s & four doors. Original paint. Y code Cameo Beige that has had 1 repaint. Very good lines and gaps. Nice chrome bumpers front and rear and trim. 396 racing flag front fender emblems & Rear quarter super sport emblems look great. New front and rear bumpers. Nice 2 tone factory correct Bucket Seats done in 2 colors of leather. Light Fawn and Medium brown. New Tan carpeting. Two tone door panels in excellent condition with stainless trim. Excellent doorhandles, cranks and armrests. Perfect vinyl dash. Ideal 66 SS Chevelle with all the right stuff. Looks, runs & drives great! Older complete frame off restoration, the motor was replaced in 1968 with a CTX warranty 296 number block - decodes to 1966 / 1967 block, motor now has hydraulic roller competition cam and hardened valves for unleaded gas. Past & Present Motor Cars was founded in June of 2018 by Jack and Jeff and began in 2 small warehouses in Ocala and Winter Garden, Florida. After seeing the business have steady growth in the first year and a half in March 2020 we moved our Main Location in Winter Garden to a new location that at the time seemed huge. We were a little nervous to take on this larger building and higher rent but we knew we had to THINK BIG. After getting moved in, that was the start of Covid. Just after getting settled in we put signs on the door saying we were only open by appointment. While it was a tough time in the world it actually was a good time to be in the car business especially the classic car business and we continued to see steady growth. After 2 1/2 years in that location we proceeded to acquire 4 buildings and lease a 5th building. This allowed for the operation we have today with 150+ Classic Cars and a Service Department. We are still doing the same thing we have done everyday since we opened, Great Customer Service, Owners that are Available and Accessible for our customers and very happy to talk cars anytime anywhere. We will never grow too big to be real with anyone! Keeping our commitment to our customers through straightforward business and ALWAYS doing the right thing!
