Step into the world of American muscle with this stunning 1965 Shelby Daytona Factory Five Type 65 Coupe, a true tribute to classic performance and style. This machine embodies raw power and meticulous craftsmanship, boasting a build date of 2006 and titled as a 1965 ASVE, that blends vintage aesthetics with contemporary engineering. With just 910 miles since its build, this Shelby Daytona radiates a presence that captures hearts and turns heads on every corner. The bold red paint with metallic white stripes, complete with a full protective PPF, makes this car an absolute standout in any collection. If you crave a Shelby that commands attention and delivers excitement, this is the one.
The interior invites you in with rich tan vinyl bucket seats that combine classic style and comfort. Touch the metal billet switches and billet buttons, feeling the precision of craftsmanship at your fingertips. The center console proudly displays a Hurst 5-speed manual shifter, while the dual-brand AM/FM Bluetooth radio ensures modern connectivity. Vintage Air A/C includes custom vents that are seamlessly integrated into the dash, but the system currently needs servicing to blow cold again, and racing seatbelts secure you in place, making every moment behind the wheel a blend of nostalgic charm and functional design.
Under the hood roars a Blueprint Engines 408 crate motor with aluminum heads, a performance cam, and a Sniper electronic fuel injection system topped off with an Edelbrock intake. This powerhouse delivers a thrilling rumble that resonates through the side exhaust pipes, promising an exhilarating driving experience. The TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission offers precise, engaging shifts, while Wilwood disc brakes front and rear provide confident stopping power. With tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, and a 10-bolt rear end, this Shelby Daytona is built to perform with authority and style.
