The fuel system was serviced with new filters and fuel lines, a new fuel pump was installed, the ignition system received fresh plugs and wires, and a new carburetor was fitted and tuned. Additional work included replacement of the master cylinder, brake service, differential service, transmission adjustments, cooling system gasket replacement, and installation of a braided power steering hose. The result is a Cobra that has benefited from significant mechanical attention, allowing the next owner to enjoy the unmistakable sound and character of Ford V8 power.
Backing the 302 is a smooth-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission that makes this Cobra equally comfortable cruising through town or stretching its legs on the open road. Power steering enhances drivability while maintaining the responsive nature expected from a lightweight roadster.
