The big block Shelby Cobra is considered by many to be the most iconic American sports car in history. When GM began to work on a new big block Corvette and Ferrari increased the power of the V12 powered GTO's, Shelby and Ford Motor Company decided to shoehorn the mighty 427 FE motor into the Cobra. To fit the 427 into his Cobra, Carroll Shelby completely redesigned the frame, body and chassis, developed a new independent suspension, fortified the frame to handle the increase in torque, and modified the body to fit bigger wheels and tires. We resumed production of the Cobra 427 S/C (originally as the CSX4000-series) in 1997 and they're available today in aluminum or fiberglass. CSX4935 is a text book example of what an aluminum cobra can be. A Shelby CSX4000 ordered in aluminum body with a polished finish. But what is a Cobra without stripes? So, CSX4935 was finished with brushed stripes offering the aesthetic we have come to expect with a 427 S/C Cobra with a stunning concourse ready finish. CSX4935 is a rolling chassis ready for engine and transmission, completed with stainless steel exhaust, fresh air vents, and leather interior. Sold brand new on Shelby factory Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO), priced at $371,245.

The reason we leave them with the owner is pretty simple. Moving one twice makes no sense to us. It adds significantly to the cost, and doubles the potential for damage during transport. You may see a car you like among those listed on DynamicMotorsports.com. If not, we also keep quite a few unlisted cars in our portfolio. For various reasons, these are not advertised at the request of the owners. Be sure and ask us about them when you contact us. Take a moment to give us a ring or send an email. We provide a "turn-key" locating, evaluation, inspection, appraisal, purchase, and delivery service for buyers of investment quality GM, Ford, and Mopar classics, European exotics and brand new Shelby Cobra and Superformance products. We are also dealers for the Carroll Shelby Engine Company, and Roush Performance. Our clients are both domestic and international, and we deliver cars anywhere in the civilized world. While we stock a limited inventory of cars, most of our sales are vehicles belonging to one of our customers, or a special order car we located. Since we look at a broad variety of classics throughout the US and Canada, you have a much better chance of finding the right car at the right price.
