Often referred to as the \"Flair Bird,\" it was the second year of the fourth-generation model and introduced several landmark features to the personal luxury segment, including standard front disc brakes and iconic sequential rear turn signals. 1 of 6,850 Convertibles manufactured in 1965. Equipped with the original 390CI 4 barrel and 3 speed Cruise-o-matic transmission. Driver quality car that has had lots of recent mechanical work and is showing just under 59K miles on the odometer. Power steering, power disc brakes and power windows. Blue paint in overall good condition with imperfections as shown with white power top in excellent condition that folds into the trunk. White vinyl bucket seat interior in very good condition with no rips or tears on the seats. Some minor cracking on the dash and armrests as shown. Full console with storage. Recent work includes newer Holly 4 barrel carb, new water pump, rebuilt transmission, new power window motors, new exhaust and manifolds, new brakes, rotors and leaf springs. Convertible top was just serviced March 2026 and works perfectly. Car has has a recent full tune-up and runs very well. All the body panels line up nicely and all the trim, badging and chrome is intact and in overall good condition. Car is equipped with the innovative Swing-away steering wheel for easy access into the car. New radio and new Thunderbird rubber floor mats. Undercarriage is solid and clean with typical surface rust as shown. Dual exhaust with custom chrome tips exiting the rear. Whitewall tires mounted on steel rims with factory Thunderbird hubcaps. Removable side skirts. All gauges work except clock and all signals and lights work as they should. Car is stored in MA with clean title in the owner\'s name. Year of Manufacture plate available for MA buyers. Great Ford Convertible that is an excellent cruiser that can be driven and enjoyed as is or subject to a cosmetic restoration.
