Offered for sale is this exceptional 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS, a genuine 138- code Super Sport finished in the timeless combination of black over black.
This Chevelle has undergone an extremely comprehensive restoration, with virtually every major system rebuilt, restored, upgraded, or replaced. The current owner has had the car for approximately five years, and it has traveled fewer than 100 miles since completion.
The quality of the work is apparent throughout, from the laser-straight body and excellent panel fit to the highly detailed engine compartment, restored chassis, suspension, braking system, interior, and undercarriage.
The owner reports more than $65,000 in restoration receipts, with extensive documentation accompanying the car.
460 HP Blueprint V8
Under the hood is a professionally built Blueprint Engines V8, dyno-tested at approximately 460 horsepower prior to installation.
The engine has fewer than 100 miles on it and remains in its initial break-in period.
Backing the Blueprint V8 is a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce clutch and scattershield. The transmission is believed to be a Muncie M21.

Wilwood Drilled and Slotted 4-Wheel Disc Brakes
The chassis received the same level of attention as the drivetrain.
Stopping power comes from a complete Wilwood four-wheel disc-brake system with drilled rotors, rear parking-brake provisions, adjustable proportioning, and a line-lock system.
Steering has been upgraded with a new CPP power-steering box.
The rear end was completely rebuilt, including its internal components, while the driveshaft received new universal joints.
Suspension components, springs, shocks, bushings, lines, hoses, wiring, and associated hardware were replaced, rebuilt, or restored as necessary during the restoration.

The car rides on traditional muscle-car wheels with a carefully selected staggered tire combination.
Out back are 245/60R15 tires, properly positioned beneath the quarter panels to create an aggressive stance without compromising the original body lines.
