"This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe represents the pinnacle of C2 performance and design, presented here following an extensive body-off, frame-off refurbishment. Finished in its striking Milano Maroon (MM) over matching maroon interior, this example captures the essence of mid-year Corvette styling with a cohesive, high-impact color combination that elevates both its visual presence and collector appeal.
At the heart of this Corvette is the highly desirable 327ci L76 V8, factory-rated at 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor. This 1 of 2423 365 hp cars made. The engine stamping suffix ""HH"" confirms its authenticity as a 365HP variant paired from the factory with a four-speed manual transmission, delivering a true driver-focused experience. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Positraction differential, enhancing traction and performance.
The fiberglass body was removed from the frame during refurbishment and refinished to a high standard in Milano Maroon, showcasing exceptional depth and gloss. Signature C2 styling elements remain intact, including flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, tinted glass, and a power antenna, all contributing to its unmistakable presence.
Rolling on 15-inch cast aluminum knock-off wheels, this Corvette is fitted with goldline tires, a period-correct detail that complements the car's overall presentation. As a 1965 model, it benefits from Corvette's first year of standard four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes, paired with a fully independent suspension system-featuring upper and lower control arms up front and a rear three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring-providing balanced handling and braking performance.
Inside, the cabin has been fully refreshed using an Al Knoch interior kit, maintaining factory-correct aesthetics with high-quality materials. Features include maroon vinyl upholstery (Trim 435), a heater, AM/FM radio, analog clock, and lap belts. The refurbished instrumentation cluster includes a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature, all presented in excellent condition. The five-digit odometer shows just 7 miles, representing mileage accumulated since the completion of the restoration.
Trim Tag Decoding:
Style 65 437 – 1965 Corvette Coupe
Body S1768 – St. Louis Assembly Plant

Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
