"""Forget what you think you know about the name, Corvair. The Corvair was using technologies and designs similar to contemporary European sports cars not to be commonly seen on typical domestic passenger cars for a decade or more later. By the second generation, it was one of the best handling cars available in the US owing to light weight and a fully independent, modern rear suspension."" – wolfden.org
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair ""pillarless"" 4-door sedan is featured in Artesian Turquoise with a vinyl Ivory interior with blue carpets. This Corvair is powered by a 164 cubic inch air-cooled flat 6-cylinder motor factory rated at 110 horsepower and is paired with a two-speed automatic transmission.
The older Artesian Turquoise paint presents well, with a good shine and no observable rust on the body or underside.
The 164 cubic inch motor with dual carburetors is well tuned and powers down the road with ease.
The odometer currently shows 77,597 miles; however, it is inoperable. As a result, this Corvair will be sold with total mileage unknown.
This 1965 pillarless four-door sedan is an excellent entry-level classic-easy to drive, enjoyable to cruise, and ready for the next cars-and-coffee gathering.
