This lovingly cared for original Chevelle SS has great patina while being mechanically rebuilt to OEM standards. The engine compartment is clean and detailed with the original 327 CID L30 250 HP engine with a two speed automatic power-glide transmission, power steering and power brakes. The interior has been completely restored including the seat frames that were disassembled, powder-coated and rebuilt, a new dashboard was installed with an OEM working clock, all dash and interior lights operate 100% to specifications including the glove box and rear courtesy lights.
The convertible top frame has been powder-coated, rebuilt and installed along with the new fabric. Also included with the Chevelle SS are the original distributor, intake manifold, and carburetor.
This Chevrolet convertible is easy to start, drives comfortably and draws a crowd wherever it goes.

""1965 Chevelle true 13867 Malibu SS trim. built at the Freemont, Ca plant 4th week of July (7D) which makes this a late year model build.
It runs great, never painted emerie white with red deluxe SS interior. It has the original 327/250 HP (L30-""EE code"") date coded 07/09 which still uses the original canister oil filter. PG trans and 12 bolt. 2.73 gears (GB code dated 07/02). A rebuilt 2 barrel replaced the 4 barrel for efficiency. Cold starts are easy. The car runs great. The engine compartment was detailed to it's original appearance. Parts originally coated with zinc phosphate were re coated with zinc. No steps skipped during the refreshing of this car. Even the original bolts with head stamps were cleaned and painted. A lot of detailing of the original parts was done. The car comes with the original intake, carb, distributor, and a new white top The convertible frame was removed powder coated. New original seat covers and new original door panels installed. The seat frames were powder coated and new foam and burlap installed. New carpet with new sound deadening. The original dash pad has re wrap in matching vinyl. A new dash bezel was installed with a new ignition switch, headlight switch and brand new NOS clock. All lights are in working order including dash lights, under dash courtesy and center console as well as glove box light It has a new fuel pump, distributor, mater cylinder, brake booster, brake lines, wheel cylinders, new tires, and shocks. The original fuel tank was cleaned out and all rubber lines replaced throughout. The radiator was cleaned and pressure tested. new hoses were added. I am confident this car could be driven cross country.""

Laguna Classic Cars & Automotive Art is the creation of Andy and Beth Coyle, long-time Laguna residents. Andy began his career in the auto business by giving tours at the Ford River Rouge manufacturing complex in Dearborn Michigan before working in the Lincoln Mercury Division in sales and marketing positions. After being transferred to southern California, Andy went on to a successful career managing and owning car and RV dealerships. Andy also competed and won in several auto racing organizations including SCCA Cal Club, International Road Racing Association, and NASCAR Winston West series and NASCAR Super Late Model series. Some of the tracks he has competed on include Riverside Raceway, Rockingham Speedway, Irwindale, Mid America Raceway, Sears Point, Monroe Washington Fairgrounds, and Tucson Raceway Park. Since moving to Southern California over 30 years ago Andy knew that Laguna Canyon was the ideal location for selling interesting cars and auto related art. Laguna Beach, and especially Laguna Canyon, is home to many car enthusiasts, collectors and craftsman. Laguna is also world known for its exceptional natural beauty and thriving art culture.
