1964 Ford Galaxie 500, 352 Cleveland is like piloting a land yacht straight out of the golden age of American cool. You dont drive it, you cruise it. Slide onto that wide bench seat, fire up the big block V8, and feel the steady and low rumble that says, Ive got torque for days. The steerings a little floaty, the brakes make you think ahead, but who cares? You're not in a rushyoure commanding the boulevard like royalty in a rolling time capsule. Windows down, where every red light becomes a chance to catch admiring stares. Its not just a car. Its a feeling. Here is a list of a lot of pros and a few cons to this project car: Pros - Has cruised great on surface streets and freeways of Phoenix for nearly two years! - Historic car registration is good until 12/31/2028. - Stripped out interior all around and a great exterior patina! - New radiator and dual fans. - New distributor, relay, plugs and wires, starter and ignition. - New 4bbl Carb, aluminum manifold and head covers, lifters, and large air filter. - Changed out the generator for an alternator. - Front disc brakes conversion kit with booster. -Tri-gauge cluster (oil, temp, battery). - New fuel tank, lines, and pump/ filters, and an A/C too! - Speedometer works as well as fuel gauge, blinkers, headlights and brake lights. - Two front lap belts and original bench seats with covers. Cons - Rust along underside, on both back quarter panels, in the trunk, and small extra drainage hole on driver side floor. - Cracked windshield and wipers only work sometimes, no horn and no dash lights. Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
