1964 Ford F100 Resto-Mod For Sale - Ford Racing 347ci, Custom Chassis W/Penske Shocks, 6-Spd Manual LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1964 Ford F100 The fourth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from the 1961 to 1966 model years. Lower and wider than the previous generation, the fourth-generation F-Series marked several design changes to the F-Series, distinguished by bed sides matching the hood line and window sill in height. The model line returned to two headlights, a change that remained in place for over 50 years. With its classic design, the Ford F100 pickup has served as the starting point for many hot rod and custom projects, and this 1964 model offered for sale shows what a well executed example can look like! This 1964 Ford F100 is a ground up resto-mod build with a laser straight body finished in a beautiful medium blue metallic paint that has been sanded and polished to a stunning show finish. New chrome bumpers, grill, trim and custom wheels highlight the timeless F100. The interior has been updated with a pair of Sparco bucket seats with Simpson harnesses, Autometer gauges, Grant steering wheel and air conditioning. During the build, a custom chassis was used that utilizes Penske double adjustable shocks, massive anti-roll bar, 9-inch rear end connected with trailing arms and a panhard bar, making this extremely well handling and easy to drive truck. Under the hood, is a Ford 347ci crate engine topped with Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads and intake producing a very streetable pump gas 450hp which flows through Magnaflow mufflers that exit at the side of the truck to create an amazing exhaust noise . Shifting duties are handled by a Hurst shifted Richmond 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive for better cruising. Four-wheel disc brakes hide behind the US Mag Rambler 18 inch wheels wrapped in a set of Nitto radial tires. This resto-mod F100 is an exceptional build that utilizes some of the best components the aftermarket has to offer. With the upgraded suspension and drivetrain, this truck has the performance capabilities to match modern sports cars while still being comfortable for normal cruising.
