Rotisserie Restoration of a 1964 Dodge 330 Super Stocker with lightweight aluminum front fenders, 426 Hemi casting number 2468330 which is a early Gen 2 426 race block from 64-66, with 8 stack FAST electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition( to make it easier to drive), Automatic push button transmission, AF/X gasser look with A100 straight axle front end with virtually very little miles since restored in 2011. This car was restored to made to look the part of a race car but has no track time. It was made to haul to shows, drive around at the shows, and haul back home and look good in the man-cave. It does have open headers, slicks, raised front end, Lexon bubbled windshield, which makes it not street legal. It does have a title and working lights. Starts and moves easily. Runs on 110 premium race gas. The car also has incredible history and has been in various magazine articles. Billing itself as the winningest race car in history this car started life as a 426 lightweight Super Stocker 1/4 mile race car in California, then with owner Bill Golden campaigning in the Southwest as The Maverick in 64 and only losing one race, and then changed hands moving to the south east and turned into The Prosecutor then ran two years 1965-66 of campaigning and never lost a race with Stanley Ward as driver. His shirt/autograph comes with the car. This is the restoration/ recreation of that car. The original car was found 2010, very rough in the woods of Louisiana, not much left of it, and using that car, plus many other parts, pieces, Dr Terry Winkler restored it, is the short story. Please read the long story in Mopar Collectors Guide Magazine July 2013 and August 2011. Comes with History display boards, trophies, non- bolted in red jump seat for a passenger, one of a kind history and car!!! A major attention getter!!!! and award winning!!!! What began as a used car store in the 1970’s soon blossomed into one of the premier classic car dealerships in the country with a showroom boasting more than 25,000 square feet. During that time, celebrities, professional athletes, movie stars and prominent businessmen were highlighting the Duffy’s satisfied customer list. That company, founded on solid Midwest values and work ethic, would become the model for what all future classic and specialty car dealerships would emulate. The “new” Duffy’s is now home to more than 60 vehicles in the same glorious showroom that brought them prominence from the 1980’s through the early 21st century. A full service automotive and detailing department meticulously tends to each vehicle ensuring a fun, sound investment opportunity for its owner.
Turn the clock to today a resurgence of that historic Duffy’s brand. Classic Enterprises that became a descendant business, realized the value of the original Duffy’s recognition and reputation. When the old name became available we jumped on it. The name, the logo and the commitment to excellence have now been resurrected and have replaced the Classic Enterprises moniker. In addition, two of the “old school” members of the original Duffy’s management team are leading the company transition along with a full sales and service staff.
While the definition of a “classic” vehicle may have changed over the years that same,” Old School” Duffy’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has not.
