I bought this 1964 aqua de ville convertible in 1968 from an elderly, ill patient of mine who could no longer drive this car which he purchased brand new, having put about 45,000 miles. I have driven the auto about 2500 - 3000 miles/ year until my retirement in 2008, having put in about 100,000 miles. Current odometer reading is 52,000 miles plus. In 1991(96,750 miles), it had a complete engine, transmission and driveshaft replacement, along with dual exhaust manifold system, convertible top motor and window motors. An air conditioner was added but currently not working (?compressor). In 2003, new top, seats, carpeting. From 2008 - 2012, new brakes, wheel and master cylinder, axle bearing, radiator and drive shaft support.
