"1963 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside pickup truck. This distinctive vehicle features a flat-6 cylinger, air-cooled, rear-mounted engine, which is characteristic of the Corvair line. Been in the same family for the past 30 years. The Rampside variant is especially notable for its innovative side-loading ramp on the rear bed, which folds down to facilitate easy loading and unloading. The exterior of the truck is well-preserved, in white and red paint, chrome accents, and pinstriping. It rides on color-matched steel wheels with Chevrolet Motor Division wheel covers and whitewall radial tires. Tires are noted as being somewhat aged. Bench seat interior upholstered in a cloth and vinyl combination, and a four-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted shifter. The dashboard and instruments are functional, including a working fuel gauge, speedometer, and operational windshield wipers. The radio powers on but lacks reception. The Rampside's folding side ramp, is a rare and practical feature making this pickup stand out from conventional models. The engine bay is revealed by removing a top plate in the bed, exposing the flat-6 engine with a dual carburetor setup and a generator instead of an alternator, reflecting the technology of the era. This vehicle likes to be warmed up before driving. On the road, the vehicle's maneuverability, smooth braking, and the visibility from the cab is excellent, contributing to the truck's practicality, fun, and and ease of use.
