1963 Buick Riviera
Offered for sale is an exceptional 1963 Buick Riviera, the inaugural model year of one of the most influential and beautifully styled American luxury coupes ever produced. Featuring its numbers-matching 401 cubic-inch Buick Nailhead V8 and showing just 23,216 original miles, this Riviera represents a rare opportunity to own a remarkably well-preserved example of Buick's iconic personal luxury car. With its razor-sharp styling, hidden headlights, and elegant proportions, the first-year Riviera remains a milestone in automotive design and a favorite among collectors.
At the heart of this Riviera is its numbers-matching 401 cubic-inch Buick Nailhead V8, preserving the original engine that left the factory with the car and adding significant collector appeal. Renowned for its smooth power delivery, impressive torque, and legendary durability, the Nailhead is paired with an automatic transmission that delivers effortless acceleration and refined highway cruising. The legendary Buick V8 offers the quiet confidence and unmistakable character that made the Riviera one of America's premier grand touring automobiles.
The Riviera's timeless styling remains just as striking today as it was when it debuted in 1963. Crisp body lines, sculpted fenders, elegant chrome trim, and hidden headlights combine to create one of the most recognizable silhouettes of the era. Complementing its sophisticated appearance is a set of chrome Buick Magnum-style wheels, adding a tasteful performance-inspired touch while maintaining the car's classic character.
Inside, the luxurious bucket seat interior features a full-length center console that helped distinguish the Riviera from other American luxury cars of its day. Factory power windows, a power driver's seat, power steering, and power brakes provide comfort and convenience, while the beautifully designed dashboard and instrumentation showcase Buick's commitment to premium craftsmanship. The outstanding condition of the interior is consistent with the car's exceptionally low 23,216 original miles, further highlighting the remarkable level of preservation this Riviera has enjoyed throughout its life.
As the debut model of the Riviera nameplate, the 1963 model established a legacy of elegance and performance that continues more than six decades later. The combination of its numbers-matching 401 Nailhead V8, 23,216 original miles, and desirable factory options makes this Riviera an increasingly sought-after collector car and a standout example of Buick's engineering and design excellence.
Whether you're adding to a prestigious collection or searching for a beautifully preserved American luxury classic to enjoy on weekend drives, this 1963 Buick Riviera delivers on every level. Opportunities to acquire a numbers-matching engine, low-original-mileage first-year Riviera are becoming increasingly rare, making this an exceptional automobile that is sure to be appreciated for years to come.
Don't miss the opportunity to own this outstanding 1963 Buick Riviera. Combining timeless styling, its original numbers-matching 401 Nailhead V8, and just 23,216 original miles, this Riviera is a true collector-quality automobile ready for its next caretaker. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
For customized driving directions, contact us today at: 215-781-3790.
