Price Improved! Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BN7. This rare 2-seater is 1 of only 355 produced in 1962 and features a numbers matching rebuilt and slightly modified 2912CC Tri-carb engine that has been bored 20 over and had a mild street cam added, SU Carbs, Dennis Welch Racing aluminum valve and sump covers, electronic ignition and a 4 Speed manual transmission with overdrive. Has the center shift and fiberglass transmission tunnel indicative of a real BN7. Car shows about 60K miles and has been driven about 12K since the rebuild. The exterior of this Austin Healey is finished Old English White with Red inserts. The paint was done about 6 years ago and has only a few minor imperfections as shown. The leather Heritage interior features red bucket seats that were reupholstered just prior to the repaint. This car has a black vinyl soft top with side curtains and a recently refurbished red hardtop as well. Over $10k spent in finding and restoring the hardtop which appears to be a 4 seat hardtop that does fit the car. The car does not have a tonneau cover. This BN7 came with the following factory options: heater, laminated windscreen, wire wheels, overdrive, restyled vertical grille slats and adjustable steering column. Other features include stock wire wheels including a 5th spare and new brakes all around. Body panels on the car line up nicely and all the chrome and badging is intact and in overall nice condition. The driver\'s side door is slightly misaligned and will need adjustment. Undercarriage is clean and rust free except for typical surface rust evident. Car will come with many extra parts including a non-louvered hood, extra new vertical front grille, original oil pan and valve cover. Also included are various AH books including the Shop manual, Drivers Handbook and various framed AH Pictures.
