"1961 Plymouth Belvedere four-door sedan. Dramatic styling, mechanical originality, and overall well-preserved condition are highlights. Featuring a 225 cubic inch Slant 6 engine paired with a three-speed manual ""three on the tree"" column shifter. Featuring lots of brightwork, wide whitewall tires, and an eye-catching dashboard. Few minor cosmetic imperfections exist including a cracked side mirror. Recent service work includes a new fuel tank, intake gasket, and exhaust system. The interior blends cream, tan, and copper-toned cloth/vinyl materials, and features working wipers, AM radio, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. Some clutch chatter is noted. Power brakes have been converted to discs upfront. This car was featured in a 2017 issue of Collectible Automobile magazine, underlining its recognized collectible status. The magazine is included. On the road, a very luxurious and original feel, smooth ride, and amazing styling make this an enjoyable cruiser.
