1961 Ford Falcon Sedan. This was LITERALLY 'Grandma's car' passed down thru the family from new to her grandson. The deal was if the Grandson restored the car to like new, Grandma would give it to him and 4 years later he did just that. When I say restored-------it is really OVER-restored out of love for a Grandmother to make it mint in all respects. As the photos will show, it was completely repainted it's original light blue in modern 2-stage base/clear. The paint is a mile deep for its beauty. Even the door jambs, and interior dash painted panels have been professionally repainted. The body is straight. No chips/door dings etc. All the exterior trim is present and exceptional. The Chrome is near perfect. No 'mash' to the aluminum grille like you see on others. The tires are correct for this vintage. The interior is replaced with new cloth and upgraded to add seatbelts. The Inline 6 cylinder engine starts easily, runs VERY quietly and a clean engine bay with no leaks or surprises. The 3 speed manual shift on the column shifts like it should. It's actually quite fun to drive. All the ivory-colored dash knobs are unbroken. Steering wheel has the trademark subtle cracks but is otherwise fine. Everything on the car works as it should. Engine bay is clean. Underside is clean and no signs of any rust ever. In an era where 2dr Coupes & Convertibles have received all the attention, this 4 door 'More door' sedan draws a crowd wherever it goes. I can't say enough about just how like new this car is for its restoration. You will absolutely be in one of the best in the country for its merits and not likely to see one this nice again anytime soon. This was a CA car originally so no rust concerns ever. A car cover is included along with a factory service manual and a few other things that go with the car.
