1961 Chevrolet Impala ""SS"" Clone – Bubble Top – 383 Stroker / 5-Speed / Upgraded Suspension
Up for sale is a beautifully styled and tastefully upgraded 1961 Chevrolet Impala SS Clone, showcasing the iconic bubble top body style finished in a sharp light blue exterior with a contrasting white painted roof. This classic cruiser combines vintage style with modern performance upgrades, making it the perfect blend of show and go.
Riding on chrome Cragar wheels wrapped in like-new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, this Impala has a timeless stance that's further accented by hood pins, front bumperettes, and gleaming trim all around.
Inside, you'll find a clean two-tone blue cloth bench seat interior, complete with original Impala floor mats and an original-style dashboard upgraded with AutoMeter gauges for improved visibility and reliability. The factory-style radio remains in place, with a 12-disc CD changer tucked away in the trunk (currently not functional).
Under the hood sits a powerful 383ci V8 stroker with a dual quad carb setup, breathing through a full custom header-back dual exhaust system that delivers a mean, throaty sound. Shifting is handled by a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, offering smooth and precise gear changes, perfect for highway cruising or spirited driving.
This Impala isn't just about power-it's built to handle too. It features power steering, power brakes, 4-wheel disc brake conversion, and a fully upgraded suspension with Hotchkis trailing arms and adjustable coilover shocks, providing improved ride quality and confident road manners.
