1961 CHEVY CORVETTE RESTOMOD Numbers matching 283 CI V-8 engine. Holley Sniper fuel injection. Classic Auto Airconditioning, Automatic 4spd. transmission with overdrive. Power steering, Power front disk brakes, Fawn Beige paint with White coves. Two tops: soft top and color-matched hard top. Fawn vinyl interior. Older frame-off restoration that started in 2019 has been refreshed. $125,000 in restoration receipts, not including the purchase of the car. Fawn beige base coat, clearcoat, which was laid on to a nicely massaged fiberglass body. The paint shows beautifully, its flat and clean. All of the stainless steel has been polished to a beautiful shine, the front chrome bumpers are brand new, as is the chrome trim accenting the grill. New chrome cove blades, new chrome outside driver mirror, new badges and emblems, new chrome rear bumpers, and license plate housing surround. Highly polished wheel covers with spinners and restored front window chrome. The front windshield is new, and the side glass is safety glass, but in like-new condition on both sides. If you like to drive with the hard top on, the Vette does have a clear vinyl protection gasket lying on the convertible top panel to protect the paint from getting scuffed by the hard top. The interior has been restored, the carpet is new, both door panels have been replaced and all of the bright work associated with the door panels and door jams has been replaced, even the door strike on the door jams is chrome and beautiful. All new weather strip, large new Corvette embossed rubber floor mats have been added to protect the Fawn Beige carpet, a new vinyl color matched steering wheel, all new gauges and trim as well as cluster glass, new inside center mirror, and new trim on center console surrounding the radio and clock. The vinyl seats have been recovered and new padding added, even the center console chrome between the seats is newer. This is truly a driver's C1 Corvette. Equipped with an automatic 4-speed with overdrive transmission, Holley Sniper fuel injection, front disc brakes with power booster and dual master cylinder, KRC power steering system, classic air conditioning, electric fan, and large radiator. This beautiful Corvette is still equipped with its numbers-matching 283 engine and maintaining its vintage appearance, it still has all of its classic stainless steel shielding, vintage style air cleaner, as well as the classic generator, finned valve covers, and aluminum overflow tank. Riding on color-matched steel wheels and smoothed sidewall wide white wall radial tires, this 1961 Corvette will take you anywhere youd like to go in comfort and classic style. Traveled only 3052 miles since refreshed.
