1960 Mercedes-Benz 220SE 'Ponton' Sunroof Coupe Project
This 1960 Mercedes-Benz 220SE 'Ponton' Sunroof Coupe is an excellent original car that's been patiently awaiting straightforward restoration. Silver over black with red interior. Just out of long-term ownership and storage, this well-preserved barn-find is not currently running as it's been off the road for many years. An honest car with a lot of potential. The ideal original candidate for restoration. In 1958 the 220 range was updated with a fuel-injected version of the 2.2-litre overhead-camshaft six, becoming the 220SE. Maximum power increased and there was a useful improvement in acceleration. One of the company?s most elegant creations. Increasingly collectible and sought-after with each passing day, don't miss the exciting opportunity to own and restore this classic Mercedes-Benz.
