This 1960 Ford Falcon is a charming example of early compact American design, powered by a 144 cubic inch inline-6 paired with an automatic transmission with overdrive. Finished in its original exterior color, the car presents well and has benefitted from steady care and thoughtful improvements over the years.
Mechanical updates include replaced rear leaf springs and shocks, the addition of a dual exhaust system, and a range of service work aimed at improving comfort and reliability. Inside, the dashboard features replaced and refreshed instruments, a new wiper motor, and a replaced heater blower motor for better seasonal usability. Entertainment comes from a Retro-style AM/FM radio connected to a five-speaker stereo system.
Interior surfaces have been freshened with a new headliner, new sun visors, and new carpeting. Custom front and rear seat covers were installed after the seat springs were sandblasted and powder coated. Color-matched front and rear seat belts have also been added for a more secure ride.
Lighting has been upgraded with new exterior bulbs and halogen headlights for improved visibility, blending classic looks with modern functionality.
While these updates were completed progressively between 2010 and 2022, they represent a consistent effort to maintain and enhance the Falcon's original spirit.
