1960 Chevrolet Bel Air Sedan For Sale Hi Performance 283ci V8 Crate Engine ~ With Approximately 6,000 Miles Turboglide 350 Automatic Transmission Vintage Air Conditioning System Edelbrock Carburetor Front Disc Brakes Dual Exhaust Power Steering Front Sway Bar Two-Tone Tasco Turquoise and Ermine White Paint With a Gray Interior Replacement Glass All Around With New Weatherstripping Power Front Windows Full Replacement of the Interior by Cars Inc. Based on Original Patterns and Material Dakota Digital Gauges R&I Steering Wheel Shoulder and Seat Belts Bluetooth AM/FM Radio and Speakers Included: All Invoices for Restoration Work; All Inspection Reports; Original Auto Manuals and Brochures Purchased by the Current Owner in 2014 in the Area Around Albany, New York. The First Work Completed Was Replacing the Front Floor Pans. Next Was the Installation of Front Disc Brakes. As Purchased, This Model Came With a Straight 6-Cylinder Engine; That Engine Was Swapped Out for a Balanced Hi Performance Crate 283ci Engine Rated at 280hp. The Engine Was Purchased From Five Star Engines in Glendale, AZ. The Engine Was Installed at Cap-A-Radiator Located in Farmingdale, NY, With an Edelbrock Carburetor. A Turboglide 350 Transmission, Purchased From Star Transmissions, Was Also Installed at Cap-A-Radiator. A Complete List of the Work Done at That Shop is Included Below. The Bel Air Then Was Sent to Don's East Coast Restoration in Lindenhurst, New York, Where a Partial Disassembly Was Done. This Was to Prepare the Chevy to Be Sent to AMAP Collision in Farmingdale, NY, to Be Hand Sanded and Prepared for Rust Removal and Fabrication of Body Parts Where Necessary. Once That Work Was Completed, the Bel Air Color Was Changed From Gray to Tasco Turquoise & Ermine White, in Keeping With the PPG Color Chart for That Model Year. Once the Work at AMAP Was Completed, the Chevy Returned to Don's East Coast for the Necessary Additional Work. A Complete List of the Work Done at That Shop is Included. To Highlight the Work Performed at Don's, the Restoration Work Included the Installation of: Shoulder and Seat Belts; Replacement Glass All Around; New Weatherstripping; a Full Replacement of the Interior by Cars Inc Based on Original Patterns and Material; a Bluetooth AM/FM Radio and Speakers; a Front Sway Bar; Refurbished Gauges Later Replaced by Dakota Digital Gauges. Subsequently, Work Was Done at North Point Restoration and Moonlight Garage, Including: Replacement of the Driveshaft Center Support Bearing; Refurbishment of the Hood Hinges; Welding and Repairing Cracks in Right Quarter Panel/Dogleg and Respray.
