Simplex was founded by Paul Treen in New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 1920s. Simplex was the only motorcycle manufacturer located in the Deep South for many years, Simplex's minimalist philosophy was maintained throughout the company's history, whose designs changed little after 1935. The Simplex Automatic was produced from 1953-1960. This black and red Automatic is from the later years. The Automatic was made with a 2-stroke, 150cc motor. The scooter does not have a kickstand - it is being held up by a wood block. This is a running scooter and it has a North Carolina Title. ALL ITEMS SOLD ""AS-IS""

AutoBarn Classic Cars & Collector Car Storage was started by a couple of Charlotte, North Carolina car collectors who share the same passion as you.

We are located 10 minutes North of Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord North Carolina.
Our indoor showroom is positioned on the southeast corner of the property with 60,000 square feet of sales floor space and storage. Our facility offers a high tech security system to keep your vehicle well protected and out of the elements.
As a means of continuing a close tie with classic car owners and enthusiasts, we offer a meeting room for car clubs and other groups to hold meetings, parties and other special events. Our space consists of 1,700 square feet set up with countertops, tables and chairs to handle your refreshment needs. We can also provide information on local catering services upon request. Call us to reserve a date and time. This space is offered free of charge upon approval of event.
