"1959 Ford Galaxy 500 Skyliner, renowned for its retractable hardtop design and iconic late 1950s style. A continental kit built in to the rear holding the spare tire. 352 cubic inch V8 engine paired with a Cruis-o-matic automatic transmission and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. Owned by a Ford dealer for nearly 40 years, this car has been meticulously preserved and is showcased with exceptional paint, chrome, and brightwork in torch red and colonial white. The interior tri-color scheme of torch red, white, and charcoal silver strands, with upholstery appearing freshly redone yet era-correct. The retractable hardtop mechanism neatly folds the top into the trunk with a well-designed storage system. It is important tto operate the top carefully to avoid damage. The dual exhaust system exits are routed downward rather than through the rear chrome bumper ports to prevent rust damage to that chrome. On the road the car's smooth handling, powerful but refined V8 rumble is noted.
