Introduced as Chevrolet\'s new top-of-the-line model, the Impala debuted with dramatic one-year-only styling that featured a sweeping roofline, distinctive side trim, and the now-famous triple taillights that would become an Impala trademark. Available only as a Sport Coupe and Convertible in its inaugural year, the 1958 Impala has become one of the most recognizable and collectible Chevrolets ever produced.Offered here is a remarkably original and unmolested 1958 Chevrolet Impala , a true survivor that retains its factory character and presents as an honest, well-preserved classic. Showing just 83,112 original miles, this Impala is powered by its original 283 cubic-inch Turbo-Fire V8 rated at 185 horsepower and equipped with its factory Rochester 2-Jet two-barrel carburetor, backed by the dependable 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Finished in attractive Rio Red, the car received a professional repaint approximately 22 years ago that continues to present very well today.
