"1957 Speedster Replica
This 1957 Speedster Replica is built on a 1970 VW platform with classic open sports car styling and simple air-cooled mechanicals. Finished in cream with a black vinyl interior, it has the recognizable low-slung Speedster-inspired look.
1600cc Air-Cooled Engine with 4-Speed Manual
Power comes from a 1600cc air-cooled flat-four with a single carburetor, paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. Additional features include torsion-bar suspension, front sway bar, front disc/rear drum brakes, 15-inch VW wheels with aftermarket Speedster-style hubcaps, and a dual exhaust system.
Cream with Black Interior
Finished in cream, this roadster features VDO gauges, a wood steering wheel, black vinyl bucket seats, and an under-dash AM/FM/CD stereo. The car is not equipped with a top or side curtains, which fits the stripped-down open-road character of the Speedster Replica style.

AutoBarn Classic Cars & Collector Car Storage was started by a couple of Charlotte, North Carolina car collectors who share the same passion as you.

Our indoor showroom is positioned on the southeast corner of the property with 60,000 square feet of sales floor space and storage. Our facility offers a high tech security system to keep your vehicle well protected and out of the elements.
As a means of continuing a close tie with classic car owners and enthusiasts, we offer a meeting room for car clubs and other groups to hold meetings, parties and other special events. Our space consists of 1,700 square feet set up with countertops, tables and chairs to handle your refreshment needs. We can also provide information on local catering services upon request. Call us to reserve a date and time. This space is offered free of charge upon approval of event.
