"1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible. Painted in Colonial White with a distinctive dark peacock (more accurately turquoise) and white vinyl interior, complete with a hardtop that fits snugly when installed. 312 cubic inch V8 engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor paired with an automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. Chrome and brightwork in good condition. The vehicle includes several period-correct features such as wide whitewall bias-ply tires, Ford wheel covers, power windows (both functioning), wing windows for air deflection, and a Continental kit on the rear. Slight discoloration on the paint below the hardtop and in a couple of spots on the hardtop itself. Mechanical updates include a new battery, replaced steering control valve, hoses, and a slave cylinder. The brakes are in good condition with 90% front and 80% rear braking capacity, and the heater works. Operating speedometer, and turn signals. However, the tachometer is inaccurate. The car delivers smooth braking, and a refined road feel given its classic 1950s design and competition with it's contemporary sports cars.
