Gateway Classic Cars is proud to digitally present this 1954 GMC 3100 5-Window truck. The early 50's era Chevrolet and GMC trucks are widely popular especially the five windows. Many builders go the full patina route with these but not the owner of this, '54 so let's get started. Underneath you'll find a Chevy Tahoe chassis with new body bushings and four wheel disc brakes making the truck ride and handle better than anything the '50s had to offer. Under the hood, a nicely fitted Vortec 5.3l engine (believed to have 120k miles) is mated to a rebuilt 4L60E transmission. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt, and full digital instrumentation combines modern technology with old school styling. The body is sold, gaps are good, and the paint is fresh. The consignor has invested far more in the truck than what you can buy it for. This one is going to get a lot of attention.
