CMC is proud to bring another amazing Custom Corvette to the market. This 1954 Corvette has had a one of kind frame off custom build. The car is powered by the GM Performance LS3 engine and backed by the 4L65E Automatic Transmission. A show car that can be driven like a modern car. The best of both worlds!
This 1954 Corvette benefited from a frame off restoration. The chassis was upgraded with Jim Meyers Suspension with Coil Over suspension in front. The chassis was powder coated in the Doe Skin Beige. A rack and pinion steering system was installed. A Corvette 4 Wheel Power Disc Brake system was installed for modern stopping power. All new lines and hoses were installed on the chassis
The original 1954 Body was stripped to bare glass and proper preparation work was performed to make this a Show stopping gorgeous paint job. The color chosen was PPQ Crystal Red Metallic from a C7 Corvette. Extra pearl metallic was added to make this one of Kind amazing color!
All original chrome trim and bumpers were triple chrome plated. All of the original stainless Trim pieces were polished to perfection.
A New windshield and seal was installed around the restore chrome windshield frame
Moving onto the interior, Al Knoch was called on to make a custom interior for the this build. The seats have modern seat tracks with reclining options. This allows for extra leg room and added comfort. The interior is a custom doe skin tan leather with Ostrich leather accents. The custom built steering wheel is matching the vibe. A Kenwood stereo system with ipod/cell connectivity was installed. The carpet was custom fitted by Al Knoch as well.
The builder incorporated the car colors to the engine bay. The LS3 has painted crystal Red coil covers with a doe skin tan intake runner. Every detail on this car was carefully executed making this a true Show winning capable Custom build.
Driving this 1954 Custom Corvette is equally impressive as the looks! The car rides extremely well with the Meyers Coil Over suspension. The LS3 Is very smooth and powerful and provides a nice tone! The 4L65E Automatic has you cruising on the highway with easy! The car rides on Corvette ZR1 chrome plated Wheels and handles incredible. You have a very modern driving feel here.
