1953 Willys Jeep Overlander Pickup — Frame-Off Build — 5.3L LS Outstanding 1953 Willys Jeep Overlander Pickup that has undergone a complete frame-off restoration and modernized build. With only 1,780 miles since the rebuild, this truck is finished to an exceptional standard and drives like a brand-new vehicle. The original frame has been boxed and fitted with a 2-inch lift and 33-inch tires. The drivetrain features a 5.3L LS3 V8 with Novak Conversions components, 4L60 automatic transmission, Dana 300 transfer case with twin-stick controls, Dana 44 front axle with locking hubs and 4.56 gears, and a Dana 60 rear axle with 4.56 gears and locker converted to five-lug. The interior is completely new, with all-new glass. The original gauges have been rewired to work with the modern OBD-II system, giving the classic cabin modern functionality while retaining its original character. This Willys is equally at home cruising the streets, hot rodding, or heading out to the dunes. It has been kept as a garage queen since the current owner acquired it, who says they simply can't bring themselves to use it the way it was built to be used.
