A SHOW-STOPPING STREETROD WITH MODERN PERFORMANCE
This 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible has been beautifully reimagined into a show-worthy street rod that delivers both modern performance and classic style. Finished in a deep, radiant red with a rich two-tone custom interior in brown and red, this Bel Air turns heads at every angle. Its fully restored body is rust-free, with all trim, moldings, and chrome brightwork in outstanding conditionthe result of meticulous care.
Under the hood is a potent 383ci GM crate engine producing an estimated 400 horsepower, mated to a built TH400 automatic transmission and a 10-bolt posi rear end. Performance is enhanced with aluminum heads and intake, FAST EFI fuel injection, HEI ignition, and a March serpentine system. A GM front clip provides the foundation for power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes, making this classic as enjoyable to drive as it is to admire.
The exterior is complemented by shaved door handles with electric poppers, Budnick wheels, and unique visual touches, including a 1954 Bel Air grille and taillights. Inside, the custom interior features power seats, a Budnick steering wheel on an Ididit tilt column, custom gauges, a Lokar floor shifter, and an upgraded retro stereo system with modern speakers. The power convertible top is in excellent condition and includes a zip-out rear window and matching boot.
Even the trunk area is fully finished to match the high standards of the rest of the build, while the undercarriage remains impressively clean and rust-free. With only 4,600 miles since restoration, this professionally built street rod offers reliable cruising and show-ready appeal.
A truly impressive street rod that blends 1950s Americana with high-performance upgradesready to command attention on the show field or the open road.
