"1949 Willys Overland Jeepster available at Unique Classic Cars. The Jeepster is powered by a rebuilt 2.2-liter (134 cubic inch) inline four-cylinder engine, featuring hardened valves. 3-speed manual transmission with the shifter mounted on the steering column. The vehicle maintains much of its original, stock appearance, including its dash and drivetrain, with some modern refurbishments such as a new wiring harness, newer tires (wide whitewall), and a vinyl front seat replacement. The chrome in front shows signs of age but adds vintage character. The Jeepster's manual convertible soft top operates well and fits snugly above the windshield, along with its side curtains for weather protection. Despite a few minor wear spots on the vinyl top and side curtains, the overall condition is solid and suitable for summer drives, local cruising, or classic car shows. The interior retains its vintage aesthetic with manual choke controls, working heater, functional windshield wipers, seat belts in the front, and an aftermarket blinker attachment on the column. The dash also features a clock and functioning gauge cluster (oil pressure, temp, fuel, amps, speedometer). Technical observations include minor play in the front kingpins and slight drivetrain seepage consistent with a vehicle of this age and history. The exhaust system is complete. The 6-volt electrical system has been updated with a new wiring harness to improve reliability.
