Exterior
Glossy Green Metallic reflects our photo booth lights pretty well and the Blue Metallic face makes the contrast transition with orange flames that lick back over the hood and fenders, just like the real thing! Single bulb headlights look like eyes and the aluminum grille resembles a grin, with the characteristic Willys pointed nose leading the way. Foot pedals are embedded at the fenders, the seat comes out of the back, and the handlebars and controls emit from where an engine would be. 6-inch chrome wheels tuck the tires under the fenders and add chrome, because every street rod should have some chrome! With use, the paint on the fiberglass body has gained some chips and scratches along with some slight damage to the fiberglass on a lower edge.
Drivetrain
Under the body is a 49cc 1 cylinder engine with a 1-barrel carburetor and direct chain drive to the rear axle. We'd call this driver quality with some evidence of age and surface rust on the single exhaust and its muffler. Stopping the car is done by a rear disc brake that's hand controlled.
Undercarriage
The welded tubular frame is in nice shape with no signs of bends or breaks.
Drive-AbilityWith some fresh gas in the tank this mini Willys fired right up and ran well. A lap around our fabled test track yielded stellar results with more than adequate acceleration and on point braking. A good time was had by all and no bones were broken during our time behind the wheel.

There is a 188 room Holiday Inn with a walk-thru entrance attached to the facility that has a full-service restaurant, lounge, meeting facilities and an indoor swimming pool. The hotel just underwent a $3,000,000 renovation.
With an abundance of car collectors, car clubs and racetracks located within a short distance, this fantastic facility is ideally situated.
